The great secret of European luxury is geography. Many traditional houses acquire their leather and assemble the majority of their bags in Asia, placing only the final hardware in Europe to stamp ‘Made in France’ and multiply the price by ten. We reject semantic hypocrisy.
Our bags are crafted by independent master leather artisans in Asia — the same craftspeople who supply the great European houses. We have chosen to be honest about this. Our leather is virgin full-grain. Our hardware is solid brass. Our stitching is hand-finished. The craftsmanship is identical. The markup is not.
Our prices reflect the true cost of materials, skilled labor, quality control, and ethical margins. We do not inflate prices to manufacture exclusivity. We do not create artificial waitlists. If you have the funds, you have the access.
We source leather from tanneries with documented environmental standards. We use cotton dust bags, recycled cardboard, and soy-based inks in our packaging. We are working toward carbon-neutral shipping by 2027.
Every artisan workshop we work with has been personally vetted. We require fair wage documentation, safe working conditions, and reject any supplier that cannot meet these standards.
We publish this transparency report annually. We welcome questions, audits, and accountability. Contact us at concierge@ferruccia.com.
